About me

I am in my early 50’s, have three teenage children who I love to the moon and back but like all teenagers drive me nuts at times. My partner of 6 years is a wonderful support, and I am grateful for another chance at connection, adventure, and love.

I enjoy catching up with my friends over a wine, dancing until late on the odd occasion, listening to music, walking in the hills, cooking good food and taking road trips.

I have personal experience of counselling as a client, so I understand the vulnerability of sitting on the couch and sharing your most intimate feelings, experiences and thoughts.

I have personal experience with grief & loss, divorce, career change, childhood trauma and issues with self-esteem.

Spiritually, I am open-minded…

I hold a Bachelor of Counselling, am a member of NZAC and receive regular professional supervision from a very experienced and respected counsellor and supervisor.

I have been doing counselling and therapy for the past 2 years at Familial Trust, Women’s Centre and Haven of Hope working with a broad range of clients seeking support with addiction, trauma, grief & loss, abuse, anxiety, relationship issues and self-esteem.
